I have tried very hard to be a good and supportive ally in spite of my shameful Zionist origins (over which I had no control). I am a co-founder of the Amity campus chapter of Jewish Voice Against Israel. Last Spring I led a Passover seder ending with the words, “Next year in liberated Al-Quds!” Yet even wearing my watermelon kippa, my fellow resistance fighters deny me entry to their Zionist-free liberation zone. What can I do to gain their acceptance?
