In 2016 Trump was still an unknown quantity. A lot of people were taken in by his act and willing to take a chance on him. In 2024, those same voters have already seen what a Trump administration looks like, and many (well some, anyway) want no part of it again. This time it’s Harris who’s the fresh face they’re willing to take a chance on, the way they did with Obama in 2008.

I’m more fearful of a repeat of 2021, a Republican attempt to nullify the election, than I am of 2016.
