Big Dipper

With a glint of frozen fire,
The receptacle of hours
Circles low on the horizon
To receive another measure
From the stationary Pole;
Creeping slowly up the eastward,
Turns erect upon its end and lets
The spilt milk of another day
Trickle down the Milky Way.
